OPERATION BARNABAS COFFEE DRIVE FOR VETS HOSPITAL
Help us supply coffee for Vets Hospital! Operation Barnabas is looking for donations of ground coffee to bless the veterans at the Des Moines Vets Hospital as part of their annual Veterans Day Coffee Drive. Our goal is to donate 80 containers of coffee in honor of LWML’S 80th birthday, and to honor the veterans and service members in our own congregation. Collection deadline is Sunday, November 5th. We will have a basket in the lobby for your donations. Any brand, any size of ground coffee (no whole bean). Sponsored by Mount Olive Women in Mission.
LOOKING FOR YOUR HELP IN HONORING OUR VETERANS
In conjunction with our coffee drive, we would like to honor all of the veterans and active military service people in our Mount Olive family for Veterans Day. We are looking for names, service info, photos, etc. for anyone in your family who is currently or has previously served in our armed forces. Contact Donna or Sandi, or the church office, or you may place it in the designated box in the lobby.
